A few years ago, my apartment complex put up 6' privacy redwood fencing. In order to do it, I lost a lot of plants that I had planted in the ground, or had to move them. I still have an area in the back of the garden that is a big mess, but I'm making progress slowly. I was just put on disability and can't do too much at the moment, but I have faith that I'll get there.

Some years ago I had planted some peony bulbs. I didn't think anything would truly come of it, but I've been told that these do look like peony leaves. I love peonies and would be overjoyed if I get flowers.

This is my fountain which I truly love. I put some wallflowers around it. It also has lights that I can cut on at nighttime.

My corner with my azalea and vinca minor. Behind the azalea is my hot lips salvia that I just pruned. It will grow back in a month or so.

This is an older pic, but it gives you an idea of the space I have. The roses are all on the left side.

What a fantastic patio area you have, Mary. I am so envious. :lol3: You do have so many wonderful container plants & I love your fountain. It was a shame you lost so many of your plants when the fence was installed but at least you have privacy & as you said, you will eventually be able to get it all done. Shadow Moon looks very much at home on that seat, too. :D The wall certainly has come in handy for hanging baskets & ornaments as well. Am not very familiar with peonies myself so cannot help with the foliage ID, sorry about that, but someone might.

Many thanks for showing us your lovely garden & we look forward to seeing if we can help you add some more plants to it. Of course, not so many that it will make it hard for you to look after them, eh?? ;) Think I have reached my limit in that regard plus lack of space. :lol!: Thanks again for sharing your wonderful images with us, it is much appreciated. :photos: :wave2:

First, thank you all! I'm truly an amateur in the garden, but I do love it.

I woke up to find the strangest thing this morning. I went out to check the garden and am getting ready to water. I think my rose bushes have cross-pollinated! Let me know what you think.

    This is my Double-Delight rose:

This is my David Austin Falstaff rose (it's not in full bloom yet:

And I found THIS on my Double-Delight bush this morning:

Could they really have cross-pollinated you think?
