    I was trying out a video card on my water cooled pc and when I turned it on the card blew up taking my motherboard with it GRRRRRRRRR
    So now I've been waiting 10 days for a replacement to come from the US, 10 days with no decent PC how will I survive!!!!! :mad4:
    Using the Laptop now hooked up to my display but it struggles to match the old PC :sheesh:

    It is a real pain to have to change computers especially if they are not as good as the one you are used to! Hang in there Bruiser, I hope it is not too long before you are all back to normal on the PC front. :luck:

    Off to the Gold Coast this AM to pick up some cheap parts to make a backup machine while I wait for the dang X58 board to arrive!
    I've opened a dispute with EBay about item not received, the seller is trying to find it !

    The new motherboard I bought is not received so a ebay claim is going inn tomorrow! :mad4:
    I've bought a gigabyte board from WA off of OCAU so will probably get that next week :yes:

    well here it is september the 19th and my new PC is up and running, the motherboard arrived yesterday from China(you can trust the Chinese to do things ). The Board from WA wouldn't boot my chip so I had to onsell it and by a new 1 from China off Ebay :lol2:

    So it took from the 20th of July until yesterday to get going again. Tek moves fast these days and the delay was finding an older board that worked, even though the Tek I use in this PC is not very old it's only about a year since it was introduced. :wow:

    well my favourite has been superseded by an Ivy bridge machine which is another level above the old girl.
    the Gulftown is only used to run the BYGC cam now and a few other minor things :lol2:
