default Cape Town City Hall and the Company Gardens

I had a fleeting visit to Cape Town the other day, I parked near the Parade, right in front of the Cape Town City Hall. It is built with the honey coloured stone from Bath in England. It was great to be in Cape Town city again. I can't find a word to describe the atmosphere Cape Town has, it is lovely... in certain places it is more evident than others, and the Company Gardens is one place in which it is rich with this atmosphere. My visit was so short and I had the wrong lens on my Camera I hope to go back soon and take some more. This is a perfect place on a summers day with no south easter blowing to just sit and soak up the lovely vibe it offers.

I have just added a link below the first image. I am mentioning it as it could be overlooked, not sure why it landed up down there :-)There is a photo on here of the whole facade. I was too close to get one like this which is in the link!

This is the mosaic floor that you step on as you enter the Cape Town city hall and as far as I could see it covered the entire area of the first floor

We are still coming out of winter so things are not too green in terms of lots of leafiness. In summer I will take more images and put them up on here.

This is a bit out of focus but it gives you an idea of how wide this tree is.
