A slideshow video of the blooms that our wonderful Brazilian Walking Irises had over the two months they flowered. They gave us a marvellous display. The flowers only last a few hours but they are beautiful & have a lovely fragrance. The almost daily shows ranged from a single bloom to twenty seven in one showing.

Did take some movie shots of the larger flowerings. There seemed too many to take individual still images, though I did do that as well.

Thought I should do a video of the first three days of our Brazilian Walking iris spring. One day with the first buds then two days of flowers, with a total of 10 flowers.

These are truly wonderful plants. :bravo: :apgch:

Yesterday, our Brazilian Walking irises had more than fifty flowers. Shame it was a dull, dreary & rainy day. At least, these flowers brightened our day on our back patio.

This is the movie taken of the flowers. Unfortunately some were discovered under foliage later. :lol2:

This is the video made from the still images I took of the wonderful Brazilian Walking iris flowers. This is how I discovered there were more than the fifty when I noticed flashes of colour in the greenery. Lo & behold, there would be some more flowers hiding away under leaves.

Have found a couple more Brazilian Walking iris videos. Well they are a very photogenic flower.

This one is of the twenty flowers our Brazilian Walking irises produced in one day during last spring, September 2009.

A movie of the 27 Brazilian Walking irises which flowered on the 25th September 2010. It was wonderful. One of them was tucked away in amongst the fuchsia until I spotted a touch of blue in its foliage. This is seen about two-thirds into the movie & is just below the fuchsia bud. It is out showing its beauty for the rest of the movie. There are, also, many buds visible in the movie &, in fact, the next day there were another 26 flowers. :bravo:

Two days ago there were 33 Brazilian Walking iris flowers which were very welcome as the day was dull, dreary & overcast. Their fragrance was wonderful.
