Forumotion has, recently, provided us with a new function, whereby forum owners can place their own links down in the footer, near the bottom of the page, along with the required Forumotion links. This is a great innovation as it makes other, regularly used, websites just a click away.

I have added Glad's forum Shout, Bruiser's favourite Backyard Galah Cam which will take you straight to the Birdcam, some of my regularly used sites as well as a couple of my well-used smilies sites. Thought they should get some recognition.

These are all available for members to use. If you know of any sites you believe would benefit our forum by being included, please, let me know.

The easy way to shoot down to the bottom of the page is to hit the CTRL key then the END key. That will get you to the bottom of the page immediately. The reverse is CTRL + HOME.

Yes, it is a fairly recent feature, Glad & this where I have put another link to Shout. Have also placed some of my other favourite links there. These are the ones I don't have room for in my Taskbar.

Have now found more Bird webcam sites so have, just now, set up a new category for them, as I keep on adding to them.

Will check them out.

There were two areas that were checked no and I checked them yes. Hope I did it right.

If possible would like to see a screen shout of how you did the shout. If you like I can put a screen shot here of how I placed the Patio Garden.

Actually, I haven't a clue as to what they both mean, Glad. I did check Yes for both then just left them both as the default of No. It seemed to make no difference at all. Think it is rather difficult to know what they mean by anything. Something may have become lost in the translation from French to English.

Oh yes only the founder can use the feature. I seldom come in as admin but had to do that to see the footer options.

By default, Glad, I mean the default settings normally supplied by Forumotion which are how settings remain unless we change them, not a button as such.

I use my admin panel frequently, especially as I change stuff often, add forums & categories, play around or look at guest IP addresses to find out if they are spammers. They usually are.

Have added a link to Ustream which is where all our live bird & animal webcams come from. This link will make it easy for members to access any of the many bird & animal live cams hosted on Ustream.
